Events: Christmas in Grapevine

19:

Nobody and no city does Christmas quite like the City of Grapevine does. Today Grapevine kicks off its multitude of holiday festivities at its historic downtown district. Here is a rundown of our favorite holiday events you can look forward to:

Trains and Games
Hop aboard the North Pole Express or stroll the downtown streets for Christmas on Main, both on weekends November 23 through December 23.

Farm Fun
Make traditional ornaments, sip wassail and eat homemade cookies at Nash Farm’s Victorian Christmas on December 1.

Movies
Watch a series of Family Christmas Movies at Palace Theatre, starting December 3, including classics like the 1954 White Christmas, cult classics like A Christmas Story and cartoons like A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Parades
One on water: Twinkle Light Boat Parade on Lake Grapevine on December 1.
And one on land: Parade of Lights through downtown on December 6.

ICE! and Lonestar Christmas
And of course don’t miss the Gaylord Texan’s spectacular attractions – giant ice sculptures, snow tubing and gingerbread-making workshops – as seen in our recent blog post. Book a night or stop in for a day of fun through January 1, 2013.
