Hockey Weekend Across America
Wear your favorite hockey jersey to a special open skate at the Allen Community Ice Rink and join the hockey jersey flash mob on Friday 7:30–8:30pm, part of a three-day hockey event with free activities. On Saturday, bring a helmet, gloves and a stick for a hockey clinic at 1:15pm for ages 4–9. The clinic will include skate rental and a one-hour group skills session. Dear Edwina, Jr.
Studio B Performing Arts Center in Highland Village is staging a production of the children’s musical about Edwina Spoonapple, who directs the kids in the neighborhood in her own Advice-A-Palooza. See it this weekend at 7:30pm Friday and Saturday or 2:30pm Sunday for $10.
