First Thursday at the Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center
Lace up your hiking boots and strap on those binoculars for the Audubon center’s free nature program for families in Cedar Hill. The kids can join a guided hike, watch an animal encounter presentation and make crafts all day. The hours are extended 9am–9pm.
Make and Take Valentines
– Because having the kids fashion a homemade Valentine’s Day card is much more fun than standing in the card aisle reading each one for just the right message. Let the kids practice their crafting and their let-me-count-the-ways poetry skills at Grapevine Public Library’s 7pm program with provided materials.
