What To Do Tomorrow: Wednesday, February 13

12:

Anything Goes
For parents not wanting to brave restaurants on the 14th, consider a pre-Valentine’s date night at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas to see the opening of Anything Goes, the revival of Cole Porter’s Broadway musical comedy about Americans aboard an ocean liner in the 1930s. Tickets start at $30.

Margaret Clauder at NorthPark Center
The woman of many costumes and lots of energy will present Love, Love Love with Lovey Dovey, a – you guessed it – Valentine’s-themed program with Grouchy, her dragon puppet. See Margaret and Grouchy at NorthCourt at 10:30am and then head over to the Bookmarks library for some light reading. Admission is free.

Wonderful Wednesdays at The Modern
Visit the work of artist Yinka Shonibare MBE, who doesn’t stick to just one medium. The children’s program will explore the meaning of pieces in his special Focus exhibit inside the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, including his video Odile and Odete. Then the kids will create their own gallery project that reflects his work. Attendance is limited so sign-up at the front desk before the start of the program at 4pm. Admission is free.
