What To Do Tomorrow: Tuesday, March 5

First Tuesday at the DMA
The Dallas Museum of Art’s monthly family programming is going over the rainbow with free activities inspired by its special exhibit, Chagall – Beyond Color. From 11am–2pm in the Center for Creative Connections, the kids can make a rainbow maraca, create a dreamlike watercolor painting, play with toys and puzzles in the Arturo’s Nest, and join a “flying” photo shoot in the Tech Lab. Bring your personal camera or camera phone to take the photos. Look for the art carts in the galleries for games and activities, and catch special reading and storytelling sessions in the C3 Theater.

Easter Bunny at The Parks at Arlington
Easter egg hunts don’t start for another few weeks, but the Easter Bunny is already out at The Parks at Arlington shopping center. Take the kids to see their long-eared friend starting on Tuesday on the lower level near Nordstrom Rack. Ms. Easter Bunny will be available 10am–8pm Monday–Saturday and 12–6pm Sunday through March 30. For more DFW locations to meet the Easter Bunny, visit our family activities calendar and select Easter for event type.

New sea turtles at SEA LIFE Aquarium
SEA LIFE Aquarium Grapevine will debut its newest permanent residents: two critically endangered Kemp’s Ridley sea turtles who are unable to return to the ocean because of their past injuries and rescued through Animal Rehabilitation Keep. Walk through the aquarium’s 360-degree tunnel to see the two turtles join Hope, the aquarium’s green sea turtle who was rescued last year, and more sea creatures in the 160,000-gallon ocean tank. Admission is $19 for adults and $15 for ages 3–12, and the aquarium is open 10am–9:30pm Monday–Saturday and 11am–7pm Sunday.
