Meet the Staff
Adrienne Ludwig, Marketing & Events Coordinator
Adrienne recently moved from Coronado Island (well, technically it’s a peninsula) back to her hometown of Dallas and is thoroughly enjoying her role as an intern working with marketing and events at Lauren Publications.
From St. Tropez to escargot, she loves everything French. She’s obsessed with all things gummy, reads about two or three books a week and loves Tex-Mex!
Lauren Niebes, Creative Director
Lauren loves all things European, has a soft spot in heart for the Irish and would love nothing more than if she meet U2, moved to Dublin (her European hometown) and became the band’s roadie (well, one of them). But while all the kinks in that plan are still being worked out, she happily resides in Dallas (her real hometown) and does what she loves: concert going, art directing and trying to become a bona fide foodie. Music, art, fashion, politics and seeing as much of the world as possible are all things (and experiences) she could not do without. Magazines and family go without saying … naturally.
Lauren’s creative direction has earned her numerous awards, including PPA awards for our covers, and a solid gold award for her cutting-edge direction for our October 2008 Fighting for Two: When Pregnancy and Cancer Collide by former editorial director Shelley Hawes Pate.
Mary has been busy with magazine layout, illustrations and design in general as the designer at Lauren Publications since October 2008. She made the move to Big D (from Denton) in July 2009 when she married her longtime beau Christian. She enjoys reading, indoor rock climbing and art of all kinds.
You can find Mary’s artful illustrations throughout our publications and Web sites, adding a touch of “Dunn” charm to our written word. Already making her mark in the publishing and art world, her artwork has snagged her numerous awards, including a gold PPA award for her illustration for Rudy’s MANifesto, Next Step: Preteen Years.
