Now that the kids are out of school (and perhaps haven’t begun their summer camps and other activities), you may be in desperate need for an evening of “mommy” time. You can take this opportunity to “un-wined” at the new branch of Coal Vines, which recently opened at the Shops at Legacy in Plano. Plus, who wouldn’t enjoy a chance to have a glass of wine while savoring a delicious Italian meal.

This pizza and wine bar offers coal oven pizza (yummy!), pasta, a great wine selection and much more (seafood risotto cake? Yes, please!). If you’re a vegetarian, Coal Vines offers several selections that will have veggie lovers salivating, including marinara pizza made with goat cheese, plum tomatoes, and fresh garlic; or baked eggplant with char-grilled tomatoes, basil and buffalo mozarella.

Warning: Before the end of the night, you may fall in love… with the food. Now that’s amore!
