For some pleasant, midsummer entertainment, see one of William Shakespeare’s best-known comedies at the inaugural Shakespeare in the Square event at Southlake Town Square on Saturday, June 30.

An all-teen cast will try out their acting chops in a live theater production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, playing Nick Bottom, Titania, Oberon, the mischievous Puck and the other woodland characters in a free community performance, presented by the Texas Creative Arts Academy and directed by Michael Johnson, an actor with Shakespeare Dallas.

The play begins at 8pm at the gazebo with pre-show entertainment starting at 7pm. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. Call 972/304-0160 or visit texascreativeartsacademy.com for more information.
